Electric Eel Drain Cleaner Model E

The Electric Eel Drain Cleaner Model E, EKR1250, is professionally engineered to clean 1-1/4" to 3" diameter drain lines up to 75 feet. Electric drain cleaners use the mechanical force of an electric motor to twist a flexible cable in a clockwise direction to veer into a pipe. The benefit of an electric sewer cleaner is that it has the ability to clean long sections of sewer drain that are normally inaccessible.

The Electric Eel Drain Cleaner Model E features a rugged 1/3 hp reversible Baldor motor, built-in drum-shaft slip clutch that minimizes cable and tool breakage while providing overload protection, and a unique inner drum design that eliminates cable buckling. Cable available in either 3/8" or 1/2" certified music wire with genuine galvanized aircraft wire inner core for longer life.

The drain cleaning machine has an additional rear bar that shields the motor and allows for more flexible two-position operation. The power cord is wrapped around the brackets for safe and problem-free transport. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) safety feature comes standard with a 20' power cord. The plumbing tool has a heavy-duty, durable tubular frame that provides stability and balance while in use.

Typical applications include vents, kitchen drains, downspouts, etc. The drain-cleaning machine is a common and widely rented machine for both commercial and home use. An epoxy powder-coated drum deters corrosion caused by caustic drain-cleaning elements, while an impact-resistant belt guard for additional operation safety is mounted securely to the motor with a thumbscrew. This feature makes maintenance and repair faster and easier. A handy zipper tool bag keeps tools within reach of the operator.
