The Tsurumi 1 HP Cast Iron Manual Submersible Sewage Pump is an economical semi-vortex submersible pump featuring a large diameter passage making it ideal for liquid containing various solids. It has an anti-wicking cable entrance preventing water getting into the housing. A built-in thermal motor protection device reacts to heat caused by over-current or run-dry conditions by shutting down the motor. When the temperature moderates, the motor re-starts. The dual inside mechanical seal (in an oil bath) is featured in all Tsurumi pumps, which provides uniform lubrication for longer life and better seals. This seal, in conjunction with the exclusive Tsurumi oil lifter, maintains lubrication even after long periods of extended operation.
