The AMH 3 Ton Lever Hoist, “Badger” series, has a light weight and durable formed steel enclosure which protects from contamination. The powder coating and plated finish on the exposed components help resist corrosion. This lever hoist may be operated in any orientation because of the fully enclosed horseshoe shaped chain guard, which keeps the load chain in contact with the lift wheel.
The 3 ton lever hoist, MTC LC030-10, utilizes the automatic Weston style load brake. This braking system is self-adjusting with double pawl, asbestos free brake discs. The hoist is also equipped with drop forged Alloy hooks and a Grade 80 Alloy load chain.
The AMH 3 ton hoist is easy to set-up and to operate. When in neutral with no load, the chain moves freely, which allows for easy set-up and load attachment before the selector for pulling is engaged. And the pull handle also acts as a chain stop. With 360 degree rotation and short ratchet strokes, the “Badger” requires minimal space to operate.
